Full Title: How to Handle Imagery Big Data to Generate Digital Twins

Instructor(s)

Dr. Mohsen Miri,Trimble

How large is Big Data in your imagination? How similar is your Digital World to the real one?

The rapidly growing aerial mapping technologies lead to capturing a large number of images, both in nadir or oblique viewing directions as well as single or multi head sensors. Handling this amount of Big Data needs stable solutions and smooth workflows. On the other hand, the increasing demand on using image-based data to generate Digital Twins, emphasizes the importance of a seamless workflow for high quality deliverables for GIS, city modeling, construction, and simulation purposes. This workshop will give you an overview of how to overcome processing of complex and large imagery projects using Trimble Inpho MATCH-AT software and highlighting the new high performance matching strategy. You will learn how to create your Digital Twins in the forms of true-orthophotos, point clouds or 3D textured models from your area of interest using Trimble Inpho MATCH-3DX. To increase the productivity we will give you some insights on how to scale your projects by distributed processing with DPMaster.
